Honeywell Minimax X4 Calibration Guide:
Want to calibrate the Honeywell Minimax X4? Here's how:
Turn the Honeywell Minimax X4 on in normal reading mode. Do this by pressing and holding the button on the left side of the monitor.
Open the valve on your regulator. This is a very important step so you do not ruin your calibration gas cylinder. Now screw it in to your calibration gas cylinder. Close the regulator once you hear gas spewing out of it. This is the signal to know your regulator is good to close. Continue screwing in the regulator until it stops. Do not overturn it.
Attach the tubing to the hose barb on your regulator. Make sure the tubing is also connected to your calibration adapter.
Now the Honeywell Minimax X4 needs to be put into fresh air calibration mode. Press the left button twice to enter the menu. Once it displays yes/no, press one of the buttons on the right side of the monitor until "yes" is displayed. Press the left button again to enter fresh air calibration mode.
Once the timer finishes on the monitor, press and hold the left button for 5 seconds to enter calibration mode.
Attach the calibration adapter to the monitor and screw it in, then open up the regulator to allow gas to flow to the monitor.
Once the timer on the monitor finishes, make sure your calibration gas values on the screen match what is on your calibration gas cylinder.
Close and unscrew the regulator then unscrew and detach the calibration adapter from the monitor.
To stop the alarm, press the left button and allow the monitor to reset.
Congratulations! You have officially calibrated your Honeywell Minimax X4 gas monitor. Make sure to record these readings in your calibration log!
